So, I have been glued to the TV for the past few weeks watching the George Zimmerman trial. As if the trial isn’t jarring enough, I was completely stunned to find that there was an app on Google Play called “Angry Trayvon.”
Yep.
Recently, one of my Facebook peeps, owner of CRE810 Studio posted about exercising discretion when choosing your clientele. I couldn’t agree more. Clearly, your clients choose you.
But, you also choose the client.
As entrepreneurs, we must be selective. Your clients are ultimately a reflection of your brand.
I was pleased to see that as I was writing this post, the app was pulled from Google Play. It should have never slipped through the cracks.
I know for certain, that as much as I love innovative creative entrepreneurs, the creators of Angry Trayvon could not have been my clients.
What would you do?
How do you tell a client thanks but no thanks?
That’s my rant for the day. I want to hear your thoughts.
Kudos, for highlighting the issue of social consciousness!! Could I say “thanks, but no thanks” ? … In a heartbeat!
