Scenario:
Our content creator client wanted to enter a collaboration with a company that had the potential to be a win-win. In considering the initial deal terms, the financial structure did not at all capture the value our client would bring to the deal. We drafted and negotiated a contract that had much stronger financial terms but also shifted the risks away from our client. We also made sure to fully address logistical issues that could occur in our deal terms.
